* Original hepatoprotective and litholytic agent (Dr. Falk Pharma).

1. Composition

Active substance: Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) 250mg. Excipients: maize starch, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, gelatin, titanium dioxide.

2. Indications

Dissolution of radiolucent cholesterol gallstones; primary biliary cholangitis (PBC); biliary reflux gastritis; chronic hepatitis and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).

3. Dosage and Administration

Oral administration, swallowed whole with liquid in the evening before bed. Standard dose is approximately 10mg/kg daily. Treatment duration ranges from 6 months up to 2 years.

4. Contraindications

Radiopaque (calcified) gallstones; non-functioning gallbladder; acute inflammation of gallbladder or biliary tract; decompensated liver cirrhosis.

5. Side Effects

Soft stools or diarrhea, upper right abdominal discomfort, mild skin hypersensitivity.

6. Storage Conditions

Store in original package below 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
