* Gentle osmotic laxative for children (Beaufour Ipsen).

1. Composition

Active substance: Macrogol 4000 4.00g per sachet. Excipients: sodium saccharin, orange-grapefruit flavoring.

2. Indications

Symptomatic treatment of constipation in infants and children aged 6 months to 8 years.

3. Dosage and Administration

Oral administration. Dissolve the contents of 1 sachet in approximately 50ml of water. 6 months to 1 year: 1 sachet daily; 1 to 4 years: 1-2 sachets daily; 4 to 8 years: 2-4 sachets daily (preferably in the morning). Treatment course should not exceed 3 months.

4. Contraindications

Severe inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's, ulcerative colitis), bowel obstruction, perforation risk, undiagnosed abdominal pain, hypersensitivity to macrogol.

5. Side Effects

Abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, flatulence. Symptoms resolve upon dose reduction.

6. Storage Conditions

Store below 25°C out of reach of children.
