Ibuprofen Active 100mg/5ml suspension 100ml

1. Composition

Each 5ml contains: Ibuprofen 100mg. Excipients: sorbitol, glycerol, sodium benzoate, citric acid, orange flavor, purified water.

2. Indications

Fever associated with colds, influenza, childhood infections, and post-vaccination reactions; mild to moderate pain (teething, toothache, earache, headache, musculoskeletal pain).

3. Dosage and Administration

Oral use. Shake well before use. Dosing is based on 5-10mg/kg per single dose up to 3-4 times daily. 3-6 months (5-7.6kg): 2.5ml 3 times daily; 6-12 months (7.7-9kg): 2.5ml 3-4 times daily; 1-3 years (10-16kg): 5ml 3 times daily.

4. Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or other NSAIDs, active peptic ulcer, aspirin-induced asthma, infants under 3 months or weighing less than 5 kg.

5. Side Effects

Abdominal discomfort, nausea, loose stools, skin rash.

6. Storage Conditions

Store below 25°C out of reach of children.
