* Non-systemic gastrointestinal antibacterial agent (Alfasigma, Italy).

1. Composition

Active substance: Rifaximin 200mg. Excipients: sodium starch glycolate, glycerol distearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, talc, microcrystalline cellulose, titanium dioxide, iron oxide red.

2. Indications

Gastrointestinal infections caused by rifaximin-susceptible bacteria, traveler's diarrhea, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), hepatic encephalopathy, symptomatic uncomplicated diverticular disease.

3. Dosage and Administration

Oral administration with water, with or without food. Adults and adolescents aged 12+: 200mg every 8 hours or 400mg every 12 hours. The duration of treatment should not exceed 7 days.

4. Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to rifaximin, rifamycin derivatives, intestinal obstruction, severe ulcerative lesions, children under 12 years.

5. Side Effects

Dizziness, nausea, abdominal pain, flatulence, constipation, skin rash.

6. Storage Conditions

Store below 30°C in original packaging. Keep out of reach of children.
